All the Good Things

Understanding business problems and helping to fix them, the noise our cat makes when she purrs.

And the bad things

Mysteriously shrinking clothes, not enough hours in the day, still not being able to play the drums very well. Oh – and choux pastry.

What do you do when you're not working?

Walks and travels with my wife, keeping up with the kids and grandkids, playing tennis and the drums (not at the same time), watching rugby, having an occasional beer or glass of wine…

A bit about me

I have worked in IT all my working life – first as a programmer and analyst, then starting and running a software house with a friend, before working freelance as a Solutions Architect, managing a software start-up for a couple of years and then recently negotiating and managing contracts as Operations Director for a thin-prime UK-based framework provider.

I am looking forward to working with the 4OC again – a lovely, enthusiastic, hugely capable bunch of people.
