All the good things

Helping organisations and staff achieve sustainable change that benefits patients and citizens.

And the bad things

Queuing, quiche, negativity and incivility.

What do you do when you’re not working?

I’m all about being outside, in places that are wild and intriguing, or just hanging out with family and friends over a meal. If not, you’ll find me soaking up culture via going to music gigs, theatre, and reading. I’m known to scare off the neighbours and local cats with my less-than-competent guitar playing, and above all, I love finding ways to dodge any DIY tasks.

A bit about me

I’ve been pretty fortunate in my career, working as a nurse and being part of healthcare transformation in the NHS for the most part.

I’m always looking for ways to make things better for patients and citizens who use our public services, and also for the staff who work there. I’m convinced, with our help, public services have more than enough resources and skills to work smarter, not just harder, leading to better outcomes for us all.
