All the good things

Thinking outside the box, pushing the boundaries in healthcare innovation and making changes that last.

And the bad things

Not a fan of stereotypes, giving up, and wasting time in traffic.

What do you do when you’re not working?

I’m always on the move and trying new things. Love to run when the weather is nice, hit the pool twice a week, and I’m serious about staying fit and healthy. Theatre and ballet are my go-to over opera any day. I’ve got a thing for ballroom dancing too – I was part of a national team over a decade ago. I’m always up for exploring new spots across the UK and diving into new cultures and languages whenever I get the chance.

A bit about me

Making a positive difference in people’s lives has always been my thing, which is why I found my way into medicine. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the direct impact of my work, especially as a surgeon. Watching someone go from almost not recognising themselves to fully bouncing back after surgery, like a CABG (coronary artery bypass surgery) is just incredible. I aim to apply a similar approach to my work, treating projects as patients, guiding them towards sustainable and vibrant health. I’ve spent over five years in healthcare, working up close with the system as a practitioner and exploring public health with various organisations around the globe. Working at 4OC is a dream because it’s all about doing the right thing and making a real, positive difference.
