All the good things

Compassion and kindness, trying to make everyday an adventure and taking pleasure in the small things life has to offer!

And the bad things

Lack of compassion and dishonesty. Making tea or coffee by adding milk first!

What do you do when you’re not working?

I like to prioritise my health and focus on fitness, whether it be a quick home workout, long walk or yoga. Spending quality time with my family…we are big foodies and enjoy trying new things! I also love a good book and a cosy coffee shop.

A bit about me

After completing my degree in Childhood and Youth with Abuse, I developed a passion for teaching and I was determined to enter the field. I decided to pursue an Early Years Professional Status qualification, allowing me to work within the Early Years sector. This decision led me to progress to  holding the role of an assistant manager and head of pre-school, demonstrating my dedication to early education.

Over the course of 11 years, I have steadily climbed the ladder in the field, culminating in my previous position as a nursery manager. In this role, I have successfully planned and executed various small educational projects, fostering an environment that provides children with the best possible start to their education. Additionally, I have consistently supported and guided my team members in delivering high-quality care and education.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been the ability to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children in our care and to support their parents. This aligns perfectly with my personal values of helping and connecting with others. The satisfaction I derive from contributing to the educational journey of young minds has been a driving force throughout my career.

Upon encountering 4OC and learning about their mission, I was immediately drawn to the company’s shared values and commitment to making a positive difference. I am excited to be part of the 4OC family and I feel fortunate that it allows me to continue making a meaningful impact and further connect with a community that values positive change.
