Ariel Dickson

Transport Commercial Lead

Makes

The daily NYT crossword, oxford commas, movement (barre, running, climbing)

Breaks

Sitting still, concrete jungles, only 24 hours in a day

What do you do when you’re not working?

You can catch me waking up earlier than most, moving my body (running always, rock climbing when I can), and tinkering on some fresh half-baked idea (hello, DIY hydroponic garden).

A bit about me

Ariel became a 4OCer at the start of 2022, initially delivering finance-focused consultancy projects. As 4OC grew, Ariel spearheaded the development of an internal commercial operations team to support business growth. After successfully leading the team for nearly two years, she transitioned to supporting our work in the Transport sector. She is currently 4OC’s Transport Commercial Lead, responsible for ensuring our Transport clients and partners receive the best service experience.

Ariel has spent most of her career liaising between stakeholders in the public and third sectors to design and deliver development projects at the grassroots level and 30,000-foot view. Before joining 4OC, Ariel earned her master’s degree in global health and economics from the London School of Economics, where she consulted for the World Health Organisation. She is both a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and Fulbright Award recipient. Those experiences placed Ariel in low-resource settings that required her to think outside the box to deliver meaningful change.
