What do you do when you’re not working?

I enjoy spending time outdoors with my kids and husband, eating and drinking, running and exercising (whilst listening to a good podcast – always open to suggestions of ones to try!)

A bit about me

After graduating I started working life on the local government graduate scheme – more exciting than it sounds, as I got the chance to be part of planning for the 2012 Olympic torch route and run events for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Wiltshire (which the Queen attended).

From there I moved to consulting and broadened my focus into healthcare. I led the programme office for one of the biggest acute reconfigurations in the country and also led things like creating organisation designs, ways of working, strategic healthcare plans and benefits framework for eight London boroughs. My favourite project was setting up an award-winning telecare service, which led to lots more people receiving a great social care service, at less cost for the local authority.

Most recently I’ve worked at a healthcare regulator, as part of the team leading the national corporate services transformation programme, initially designing the approach for trust boards and teams to deliver their productivity improvements.

I joined 4OC in January 2022, shifting from being a client to a member of the team.

I am part of both the Health and Local Gov teams.
