Simone Poulter

Principal Consultant

About me:

I started my career working for Lloyds Bank in branch on their management development scheme. My career then evolved through various project roles up to programme management, but my real passion is for service design. Working with a department or client, understanding their services/products and unique challenges and then helping to shape the end to end delivery model and supporting technology and/or processes.

I joined 4OC because of the welcoming, friendly bunch of people I met when interviewing, the range of work that the company does and the overriding ethos. The team has been fantastically supportive and it’s great to be motivated to work.

I live in West Sussex which makes commuting a bit of a challenge, so I have almost mastered the art of balancing remote working with office and client site visits.

Makes

Logical; Able to pick up new areas quickly; Love a challenge

Breaks

Jam doughnuts; Sometimes too logical – have to remind myself people like to work in different ways; Not being busy

What do you do when you’re not working?

When not at work I try to keep fit with Yoga, Boot Camp, Walking with a friend and her dog or at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I also spend time providing the taxi service for my teenage son and when I need to sit down for a bit reading a book and practicing the Bass Guitar.
