A bit about me

I started my career in banking and enjoyed a good number of years helping the rich get richer before deciding I wanted something different. So I jumped on a plane and spent 6 months ‘finding myself’ in south east Asia. What I actually found was that I loved not being at work. Turns out that’s not a life plan so I eventually came home.

A few years spent working for a local carpet shop (I’ve got a forklift licence to show for it!), a bit of volunteering in the homeless sector, a few grey hairs later and I stumbled into Social Housing. I’ve loved working in the sector ever since. I had a varied career working for one of the largest registered providers in London. I took on roles in customer service, income management, policy, project management and transformational change (where I met the wonderful team at 4OC). The next step was going back into customer service heading up the customer service team for a few years. I have a passion for supporting teams through change, leading and developing operational managers and helping support organisations with doing stuff better.

I wanted to work with 4OC again because I love the way they go about their business. They support their staff to grow and there is a genuine supportive approach from everyone from the Executive team to the staff in the trenches. The also have lots of Modern Toss memorabilia in the office 🙂
