All the good things

Visiting new places, inspiration sparks and breakthrough moments

And the bad things

Chasing my tail and multiple exclamation marks!!!!

What do you do when you’re not working?

A couple of years ago, I took up Couch to 5K and still enjoy a half hour run. It’s just enough time to clear the mind and listen to a podcast or some new music.

Based in south London, we’re well placed to hop into town for some culture or take a short drive out to the countryside.

I like to have a book on the go, alongside reading online articles on creative processes, brand stories and design history. I also support creative talent through a mentoring program run by my old college.

A bit about me

With a career in the creative industry spanning three decades, I’ve worked across a diverse range of sectors and project types. The workings of visual language have been of interest for as long as I can remember. Why does this have more impact than that? What’s the fastest way to express an idea? How can we make the page smile?

After graduating from the London College of Communication, my working life started out in publishing before heading towards design, advertising and branding. It was whilst working on creative briefs for NGOs and charities that I started to see visual communications in a new light. However small, something I was producing was making a difference. Highlights have been working with the UN and the World Health Organisation.
