Adrian Firth

Senior Business Consultant

About me:

I graduated with a Business Information Systems degree and immediately started a career in the software industry, taking on all manner of roles from pre-sales through to implementation and everything in between.

I joined 4OC because its mantra is all about supporting people – both its own and its customers, and that shines through even in the most complex of assignments. You have the backing of a great team with a wealth of experience that can react to and reshape depending on the challenges being presented. I try to avoid consultancy speak and overly complicated solutions to problems when tried and tested methodologies and common language usually work best.

I have a flexible and pragmatic approach to tackling new challenges and welcome variety, which is fortunate because working for 4OC keeps you on your toes.

Knowing when to stop talking and start listening; Living in Yorkshire – the ability to arrive at work (which will invariably be nowhere near Yorkshire), with a smile; Staying cool during the chaos, getting immersed in the detail, adapting to what’s needed

People whose transmit/receive button is stuck on transmit; Dark mornings; The A1, M1, M25, average speed zones, and most A & B roads

What do you do when you’re not working

Walk the dog. I love running but my joints don’t feel the same way. Being with my family, fair-weather biking, cooking, watching movies, baking with my daughter (aka cleaning).
