4OC offer a series of full-day workshops on a rolling monthly basis, the most recent of which was ‘Digitising the Customer Journey’. Previous attendees have included organisations such as Ealing Borough, Hounslow Borough, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Southend Borough, and Adur & Worthing Councils as well as representatives from several Housing Associations and Ofsted.
We run these workshops both to introduce 4OC to a wider audience and to enable delegates to meet up with their peers to better understand what innovative solutions are being trialled and what challenges they’ve faced. There is also great value in sharing what lessons have been learned and how these could be adopted in to your own organisation.
The next session ‘Optimising Waste Service Performance’, is scheduled for February 22nd, 2017. There are only 1 or 2 places available this month as we keep the numbers to 8-10 for each session in order to ensure delegates get the most value from the day.

The next set of Workshops will cover the following:
- March: Commercialisation: How can council services more effectively deliver traded services and generate an income stream
- April: Digitising the Contact Centre: Reduce the number of staff through automation, integration, self-service, signposting and magic
- May: Health and Social Care Points of Access: Taking the lessons from Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland on how to build a consensus for integrated contact centres – making it easier for professionals and services users to navigate the system
